Friday 10 th May to Sunday 12 th May 2024 at Plaza Major 3E 07002 Palma Mallorca – The JoyRon Foundation, dedicated to aiding economically disadvantaged/underprivileged children in the Balearic Islands, is proud to announce its upcoming event. The JoyRon Innovation & Art Expo 2024, in collaboration with Innovate Mallorca Consultancy SL and supported by Galeria HMH SL.
The Expo, to be hosted on the premises of Innovate Mallorca Consultancy SL, will showcase a diverse array of artworks from both local and international talented artists. Among the highlights of the event is the opportunity for artist exhibitors to display up to three of their paintings for sale, with an additional piece of artwork to be donated to JoyRon Foundation for auction. Plus each artist will have the opportunity to display a catalogue of their art portfolio of artworks for sale. A portion of all the sale proceeds will benefit the foundation.
In addition to the art, various Mallorcan based entities, will present during the Expo their latest innovative projects, showing their respective initiatives and business plans. The Expo offers the opportunity for both the Art Exhibitors and the Innovative Entities to demonstrate the power of art and creativity to inspire change and make a positive impact. Ronald Hawes Founder and President of the JoyRon Foundation, expressed his thoughts and excitement stating “Through this event we very much aim to raise awareness within our community of the innovative creativity that we have and at the same time raise funds to provide essential support for those local Children in Need”.
Event Timetable
- Friday 10 th May 15.00 to 21.00 – Artwork viewing and meet the artists and Innovation Companies.
- Saturday 11 th May 11.00 to 21.00 – Artwork viewing and meet the artists and Innovation Companies. With a beneficial Art Auction commencing at 17.00 with wine and tapas.
- Sunday 12 th May 11.00 to 17.00 Family Day for Adults and Children – Artwork viewing, – plus at 12.00 Mandala painting with the children by Yara Zegke. 14.00 Educational Imaginative workshop by Cleanwave Foundation. Plus during the day, there will be painting and drawing lessons for the children by caricature artist Paul Cemmick. All Children’s entertainment will be free of charge.
About the JoyRon Foundation
The JoyRon Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of economically disadvantaged/underprivileged children in the Balearic Islands through various initiatives and programs.
- Supporting Children in Children’s Homes (some 450 plus children).
- Children suffering from life threatening illnesses.
- Children within families of limited income, requiring mental health consultation.
- Identification and completion of Building Projects requiring financing, project management and subsequent donation to a community organisation to operate and maintain.
To-date the foundation has raised some 550,000.00 euro, 100% for the benefit of the children, as the foundation’s administration operating costs are privately funded.
