    Recognition given to the Foundation

The Foundation functions solely for the benefit that it can provide to the Children in Need within the Baleares. However, whilst going about its activities, the Foundation on behalf of its management and its volunteers has received from time to time various levels of recognition from various third parties. For the record a few of them are noted herewith.

JoyRon Foundationโ€™s finance and build project of the Childrenโ€™s Cinema at Son Espases Hospital was awarded the Illes Balears โ€œHumanisationโ€ category award for its effort and contribution to the childrenโ€™s health during the โ€œVI Gala de Salut de les Illes Balearsโ€ at the Congress Palace in Palma on 30th May 2022.

In May 2018 at The British Embassy in Madrid the JoyRon Foundation was presented by His Excellency Mr Simon Manley CMG, British Ambassador to Spain, with a Certificate of Recognition. The Certificate being for the outstanding contribution to the local community in Spain.

In December 2018 The Council of Calvia Mallorca presented a plaque to JoyRon Foundation in recognition of its invaluable contribution to the community in Mallorca.

In less than two years after the inauguration of JoyRon Foundation, it came as a big surprise when JoyRon Foundation was selected by IB3tv to be their โ€œCharity of the Monthโ€ for the month of April 2017. We would like to thank IB3 for the marketing and promotion that they gave to the foundation both on tv and radio.

  • Management Statement

    Management Statement

Children come into this world as innocent individuals. The situation they often find themselves in, is no fault of the child. It could be an identified serious medical issue, aspects of poverty or the unacceptable environment that their parents have created for them. Children are unable and in no position to change their situation. Not looking for sympathy, but my own childhood was far from the best. In spite of that I was fortunate, I survived and made a successful life for myself. Many children in this modern world of today require additional support to bring some joy, comfort and support to their life or current situation. Hence the purpose and objectives of this Foundation.

  • Our objectives & purpose

    Our objectives & purpose

Since August 2015, when the foundation was founded, we have led the effort to bring a new sense of hope to the children in need within the Balearics. We raise funds, that are be applied to bring levels of joy, comfort and essential support to the children in need, including-

    • Children exposed to violence, exploitation or abuse.
    • Children suffering from hunger and living in poverty.
    • Children orphaned, fostered, in care, or deprived.
    • Children Seriously ill and or suffering from a life threatening illness and in need of special moments that they can cherish within their possible short lives.

As all Foundation administration expenses are privately funded and Support Services are being undertaken by Voluntary Advisory Associates, the Foundation is in a position to ensure every euro raised is 100% for the benefit of the Children.
